Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy GIS solutions
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GIS development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and related GIS tools
- Experience with GIS data modeling and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
