Sr. Engineering Technician - Laser

About the role

The Sr. Engineering Technician is responsible for developing life-changing medical devices using advanced equipment and collaborating with design and process teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble development prototypes
• Provide feedback to engineering team
• Document assembly techniques and settings
• Create and execute ECOs
• Train assembly team on process changes
• Perform DVT in design lab
• Place orders for materials
• Maintain compliance with procedures and regulations
• Aid in training employees on equipment and assembly skills
• Diagnose and solve problems
• Assist engineering in improving quality and problem-solving

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-7 years' experience in engineering/manufacturing for medical devices
• Laser experience
• Strong learning and teaching abilities
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP principles, and ISO standards
• Good computer skills with Microsoft software
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Excellent reading, writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of one or more manufacturing processes (plus)
• Familiarity with Pro-E / CREO and/or SolidWorks (plus)
