About the role
The Sr. Engineering Technician is responsible for developing life-changing medical devices using advanced equipment and collaborating with design and process teams.
Responsibilities
- Assemble development prototypes
- Provide feedback to engineering team
- Document assembly techniques and settings
- Create and execute ECOs
- Train assembly team on process changes
- Perform DVT in design lab
- Place orders for materials
- Maintain compliance with procedures and regulations
- Aid in training employees on equipment and assembly skills
- Diagnose and solve problems
- Assist engineering in improving quality and problem-solving
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-7 years' experience in engineering/manufacturing for medical devices
- Laser experience
- Strong learning and teaching abilities
- Familiarity with FDA, cGMP principles, and ISO standards
- Good computer skills with Microsoft software
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Excellent reading, writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance
Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of one or more manufacturing processes (plus)
- Familiarity with Pro-E / CREO and/or SolidWorks (plus)
