About the role
Lead and coordinate Product Stewardship project lifecycle including initiation, planning, implementation, tracking, and closure to achieve regulatory compliance and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Product Stewardship project lifecycle including initiation, planning, implementation, tracking, and closure
- Manage regulatory material compliance requirements with country-specific regulations (REACH, China ROHS, EU MDR, and California Prop65)
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with product design, manufacturing, and end-of-life management
- Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact of products and processes
- Develop continuous improvement opportunities for processes and projects
- Conduct periodic reviews of procedures and Detailed Work Instructions (DWIs) for Risk Management and product development in compliance with EN ISO 14971 and ISO 13485 standards
- Make improvements as needed to meet regulation requirements
- Work with suppliers to obtain required material information and act on regulation compliance regarding materials
Qualifications
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field with minimum 7 years of related progressive professional engineering experience. Alternatively, will accept Master's with minimum 5 years of related professional engineering experience.
Required experience
Each alternative requirement must possess minimum 5 years of professional experience in:
- Coordinating Product Stewardship project lifecycle including initiation, planning, implementation, tracking, and closure
- Regulatory material compliance requirements with country-specific regulations (REACH, China ROHS, EU MDR, and California Prop65)
- Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with product design, manufacturing, and end-of-life management, and implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact of products and processes
- Developing continuous improvement opportunities for processes and projects

$142,355 - $180,000/year
