Job Responsibilities
- Install and route conduit systems (EMT, RMC, PVC, and flexible) with precision and adherence to electrical codes.
- Fabricate and mount cable tray systems, ensuring proper alignment, support, and load capacity.
- Apply and install heat tracing systems for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance, including insulation and control integration.
- Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations.
- Perform terminations, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician, with a strong background in conduit bending, cable tray installation, and heat tracing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and conduit bending equipment.
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and relevant industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Current electrician’s license or journeyman certification preferred, but not necessary.
