About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Drive Inverter Reliability Test Team to work on the latest edge of technology drive inverters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with significant experience in inverter design and testing. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of drive inverters for our cutting-edge EV technology.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze reliability tests for drive inverters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential reliability issues
- Utilize electronic design software to simulate and troubleshoot inverter circuits
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Junior Engineers and Technicians
- Prepare and present detailed reports on test findings and recommendations
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in inverter design and testing
- Strong knowledge of power electronics and semiconductor components, particularly MOSFETs and IGBTs
- Proven experience in the design and testing of inverter circuits
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, curve tracers, DMMs, hipot testers, and source meters
- Familiarity with electronic design software such as Altium, LTspice, etc.
- Experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry with electric drive systems
- Familiarity with reliability testing methodologies and standards

Pay
Expected compensation: $91,600 - $195,600 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
