Sr. Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite position in Addison, TX, specializing in schematic capture, PCB design, and electrical circuit development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with electrical design, schematic creation, PCB layout, circuit analysis, and hardware development. The role will involve developing and reviewing electrical designs, troubleshooting hardware, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics and PCB assemblies.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and design reviews.
• Analyze circuits and support component selection and hardware development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and hardware issues.
• Conduct design verification, testing, and debugging of electronic systems.
• Review PCB designs for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, schematics, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and other engineering teams.
• Support prototype development, testing, and production release.
• Identify design improvements and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering / Hardware Design.
• Strong experience in Schematic Capture and PCB Design.
• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar PCB design tools.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with PCB layout, component selection, and circuit analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC is preferred.
• Experience with embedded hardware/electronics is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Must be available to work onsite in Addison, TX.
