Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote work and field involvement. Candidates should reside within one hour of a commercial airport to support travel requirements (up to 25%).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and review of electrical construction documents, engineering packages, and project deliverables.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations throughout project execution.
• Oversee low-voltage electrical system design and power system studies.
• Perform and review SKM modeling, analysis, and validation.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable industry standards.
• Direct field investigations, equipment assessments, and data collection activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Support AHJ coordination and regulatory compliance activities.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, field personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Participate in field activities as needed to support project execution and commissioning efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7+ years of recent experience in low-voltage electrical design and/or power system studies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or similar engineering design software.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and electrical engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting field operations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting healthcare, utility, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience performing arc flash, coordination, load flow, and short-circuit studies.
• Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and field troubleshooting activities.
• Experience working directly with utilities, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

Pay

Salary: $110,695-$164,995 annually (based on education and experience)
