Sr. Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering calculations and develops electrical equipment specifications.
• Ensures design products comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Develops concise, factual project designs for effective construction and installation.
• Conducts power systems analysis, including arc flash, using modeling software.
• Collaborates with other engineers, designers, construction QA/QC, and contractors for E&I scope and deliverables completion.
• Communicates with clients to ensure deliverables meet expectations and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10-15 years of working experience in power systems design.
• Experience using ETAP or SKM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and solution-oriented.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• P.E. License (Texas) preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Personnel management and mentoring experience preferred.
• Previous experience with power transmission & distribution system evaluation/selection preferred.
• Previous experience in the oil & gas industry preferred.
