Sr. DOD Acquisitions/COR Support Specialist (5876) with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance, recommendations, and document support across all phases of the IT acquisition process, from requirements definition through post-award execution.
  • Provide action officer and briefing coordination support.
  • Affiliate with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and IT Directorate, with management and execution of responsibilities for oversight of the customers services acquisition portfolio.
  • Affiliate with the preparation of the annual Inventory of Contracts for Services (ICS) for submission to Congress.
  • Develop and maintain a list of all Agency service acquisitions including the requiring office, contract number, agent, vendor, title, contract type, and end date.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Active Secret Clearance is required
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Ten (10) years of experience, with at least five (5) years of DoD experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, teambuilding, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Direct experience as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for DoD/DOW IT contracts is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment.
  • Experience developing professional MS Office briefings and documentation for senior level engagements is preferred.
  • Experience in services contracting, program management, source selection, or acquisition planning and development of solicitations required; experience in all four areas preferred.
  • Experience with the FAR.
  • Demonstrated experience in the lifecycle of acquiring complex IT services, such as cloud environments (FedRAMP, IL5/IL6), Enterprise Software Licensing Agreements (ELAs), and specialized cybersecurity services are also preferred.
  • Experience with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, familiarity with structuring contracts for Agile and DevSecOps, and experience utilizing a wide range of DoD/Federal contract vehicles are desired.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research on emerging technologies and translate mission requirements into actionable acquisition strategies is a plus.
  • Experience providing front office or senior leadership support required; support within a DoD organization preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical writing experience to include drafting background papers, point papers, acquisition documents, policies and procedures preferred.
