Sr. Distribution Technician - Weekend Shift

Almac Group is seeking a Sr. Distribution Technician for our Souderton, Pennsylvania location. This role operates on a weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm) with a 15% shift differential.

About the role

The Sr. Distribution Technician is responsible for verifying and packing clinical site orders, including the following types of shipments: Ambient, Controlled room temperature, and Cold Chain.

Responsibilities

• Pack customer orders based on customer-specific protocols and Distribution Instructions within Refrigerated (2-8°C), Frozen (-20°C), and Ambient (15-25°C) conditions.
• Perform verification checks of documents and clinical material prior to distribution from Almac Clinical Services.
• Review documents for clarity, correctness, completeness, and compliance.
• Generate UPS and FedEx shipper address labels.
• Interact with Quality, Distribution, and Logistics personnel to address quality issues.
• Possess a thorough understanding of departmental SOPs.
• Ability to work in the cold room as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or relevant job experience/education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical experience.
• Shipping experience.
• Data entry experience.
