Sr. Director, Technical Researcher

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Technical Researcher to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead advanced quantitative research efforts that turn complex business questions into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will shape research strategy, design rigorous studies, and ensure methodological excellence across multiple programs. You will also partner closely with senior stakeholders and research specialists to translate findings into business implications that support informed decision-making. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $155,000 – $170,000 annually Responsibilities Translate complex business questions into effective research designs Design advanced quantitative research methodologies and studies Set and uphold methodological and data-quality standards across research programs Review study designs and questionnaires to ensure methodological integrity Collaborate with advanced statistical partners for complex analytical needs Lead client discussions on research strategy and methodology Evaluate data patterns and study performance for quality assurance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred 10+ years of experience designing and leading quantitative market research, including complex custom engagements Deep expertise in advanced research methodologies such as segmentation, MaxDiff/conjoint, pricing research, and experimental design Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into actionable research strategies Expertise in questionnaire design, statistics, sampling, and data quality Experience leading senior client conversations and translating complex findings into business implications Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Flexible paid time off (PTO) and paid sick leave Eight paid holidays throughout the year Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
