About the role

We are looking for a Sr. Director, Revenue Technology to serve as the technical engine behind our global revenue operations. Reporting to the SVP of Infrastructure & Studios, you will be responsible for the “pipes and power” of our revenue cycle, ensuring that our lead-to-cash process is seamless, automated, and intelligent. This is an individual contributor (IC) role with no direct reports. You will operate as a deep specialist and internal expert, owning the architecture and execution of our revenue technology stack end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Core Management: Serve as the primary architect for our Salesforce instance. Manage the full lifecycle of the CRM, including the creation of custom objects and fields, the development of complex Flows, and the implementation of validation rules that ensure business logic is followed without slowing down the team.
  • Data Integrity & CRM Hygiene: Own the “source of truth.” Establish and enforce strict data hygiene standards, managing deduplication, data mapping, and mass uploads to ensure the revenue tech stack remains clean and reliable for executive decision-making.
  • Workflow Architecture: Design and optimize the end-to-end integration between Salesforce (CRM), Outreach (sales engagement), ZoomInfo (enrichment), Placements.io (OMS), and Sage Intacct (ERP). Ensure data flows correctly from a lead to booked revenue.
  • Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain sophisticated reports and dashboards within the tech stack that track KPIs across the Revenue team. Turn raw system data into actionable insights for key stakeholders.
  • Automation & AI: Build and maintain workflow automations using Claude Code, n8n (or similar orchestration tools), and workflow tools like Mastra and Inngest. Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks such as auditing contract verbiage, summarizing media plans, flagging pricing discrepancies, and connecting systems that don’t natively talk to each other.
  • Enablement & Training: Lead the rollout of new system features. Create documentation and enable the team through training sessions, ensuring that everyone knows how to use our tools effectively.
  • Systems Strategy: Serve as the technical lead for Placements.io. Partner with respective parties to manage the product catalog, rate cards, and the mapping logic that ensures our inventory is always accurate, sellable, and properly synced with Salesforce.

Requirements

  • The “Stack”: Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Administration (Advanced Flows, Complex Data Modeling, Security/Permissions) and experience with Placements.io (or similar Media Order Management Systems). Familiarity with Outreach, ZoomInfo, or comparable sales engagement and enrichment tools is a plus.
  • Infrastructure Mindset: Treat a CRM like a piece of infrastructure. Be obsessed with clean data, well-documented processes, and scalable automation.
  • AI Fluency: Know how to apply AI tools to automate workflows or extract insights from unstructured data. Experience with Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools in a production workflow context is strongly preferred.
  • Low-Code/No-Code Mastery: Be a “Power User” who can build high-functioning systems using platform tools, APIs, and automation builders (n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar) rather than manual workarounds.
  • AdTech & Media Knowledge: Understand the language of media: flighting, impressions, eCPMs, and the nuances of how a media plan translates into an invoice.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in revenue operations, systems architecture, or CRM administration.
  • At least 2 years managing a complex Salesforce instance.
  • Experience in the AdTech/Media space.
  • Hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (Placements.io, ADvendio, Operative, or similar) is strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce: Certified Administrator (Strongly Preferred). Platform App Builder or Advanced Admin (Highly Preferred).
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read/write basic JSON and work with REST APIs.
  • AI Practicality: Demonstrated experience using AI productivity tools (e.g., building GPTs for internal use, using AI for data cleansing, or implementing Salesforce AI features). Bonus: experience with Claude Code, MCP integrations, or LLM-driven workflow automation.

Why this role is different

This isn’t a “back-office” IT role. You are embedded in the Revenue team, directly impacting how we go to market. You have the mandate to keep the foundation rock-solid while using the latest AI and automation technology to build a world-class revenue engine.
