Sr. Director, RCM

About the role

This role will own the full revenue cycle for a healthcare services organization, from enrollment through cash collection. You will lead efforts to improve billing performance, reduce denials, strengthen reporting accuracy, and create more efficient, scalable processes across the organization. The position also partners closely with Finance and operational leaders to improve forecasting, support compliance, and enhance financial visibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire revenue cycle from enrollment to cash collection.
• Analyze aging reports to identify and resolve root causes of denials.
• Manage metrics and reporting to provide reliable financial insights to leadership.
• Oversee EHR and billing platform configurations, addressing process gaps.
• Implement automation and AI to streamline manual billing tasks.
• Collaborate with Finance for accurate cash forecasting and reserves management.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and billing regulations in adolescent behavioral health.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience in startups, demonstrating adaptability to changing business needs.
• Expertise in outpatient behavioral health and Medicaid/MCO billing.
• Hands-on experience with AI and automation in RCM processes.
• Proven track record in reporting, automation, and system migrations.
• Strong public accountability for financial forecasts and results.
• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of simplifying complex billing issues.

Compensation

$175,000 annually
