Accountabilities

The Sr. Director, Performance Marketing will be responsible for leading customer acquisition strategy, optimizing marketing investments, and building scalable growth programs that maximize revenue and customer value.

Define and execute the performance marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives and customer acquisition goals.

Own paid acquisition performance across channels including paid search, paid social, affiliates, display, programmatic, retargeting, and emerging platforms.

Drive profitable growth by managing key acquisition metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV ratio, payback period, and customer profitability.

Develop scalable acquisition strategies that improve marketing efficiency while increasing customer volume and long-term value.

Identify new channels, technologies, partnerships, and audience opportunities to expand growth potential.

Partner with product, analytics, finance, brand, and customer experience teams to improve customer quality, adoption, and retention.

Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on acquisition strategy, investment decisions, and marketing effectiveness.

Build forecasting, attribution, and reporting frameworks that enable better decision-making and resource allocation.

Lead experimentation programs across campaigns, landing pages, customer journeys, and conversion experiences.

Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing performance marketing team while fostering accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.

Build strong relationships with agencies, media partners, and external vendors to maximize campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10-12+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, digital acquisition, or revenue marketing leadership.
  • 4-6+ years of experience leading large, high-performing marketing teams.
  • Proven experience managing significant paid media budgets and owning marketing-driven revenue outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success scaling customer acquisition programs for subscription-based, SaaS, or recurring-revenue businesses.
  • Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic media, affiliate marketing, attribution, and marketing analytics.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition economics, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, payback periods, and profitability metrics.
  • Experience using experimentation, personalization, analytics, and data science insights to improve growth performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and operate effectively within complex organizations.
  • Experience in digital services, web technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, marketplaces, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Experience working in high-growth, transformation-focused, or private-equity-backed environments is a plus.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
