Sr. Director of Information Technology
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr IT Director is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions within the organization. This includes ensuring that technology supports the organization’s business objectives, drives innovation, and enhances operational efficiency. This leadership role is integral to shaping the organization's technology vision, strategy, and culture.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the IT strategy to align with the organization's business goals
- Partner with senior leadership to define the company's technology vision and roadmap to support manufacturing, supply chain, finance, commercial and corporate functions
- Oversee the IT Operations Manager to ensure compliance with SLAs and attainment of helpdesk-related KPIs
- Develop end user policies to safeguard the company and ensure appropriate use of IT systems by all employees
- Act as a liaison between IT and other business units to understand their needs and provide technological solutions
- Able to develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals
- Excellent management, coordination and organization skills
- Good communication skills; able to relay information to both technical and non-technical audiences
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and engineering, preferably a management degree with an engineering degree in Computer Science and Information Technology
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, and digital transformation
- Experience with ERP platforms, cloud technologies, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST/CIS), and manufacturing systems
- Able to develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals
- Excellent management, coordination and organization skills
- Good communication skills; able to relay information to both technical and non-technical audiences
