Sr. Director, IT Ops & Security

About the role

Lead the Technology Foundation Behind a Global Business At URUS, technology is a critical enabler of our global growth strategy. We are seeking a Senior Director, IT Operations & Cybersecurity to lead the next phase of operational excellence, cybersecurity maturity, and technology modernization across our global portfolio of businesses.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate a clear technology operations and cybersecurity roadmap.
• Continue advancing cybersecurity maturity and reducing operational risk.
• Improve service delivery performance and employee technology experiences.
• Lead modernization initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency while helping teams navigate change.
• Strengthen governance, lifecycle management, and technology planning processes.
• Support acquisition integration efforts and ensure technology readiness for future growth.
• Identify practical opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve operations and support functions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and cybersecurity maturity in a complex global environment.
• Experience leading large-scale IT operations, cloud services, and cybersecurity programs.
• Strong understanding of ITIL, COBIT, and other relevant frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to balance business enablement with appropriate risk management and security controls.
• Experience with automation and AI in IT operations and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Skills

• Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and other relevant frameworks.
• Experience with automation tools and AI in IT operations and cybersecurity.
