Sr. Director, Integration Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Integration Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will oversee enterprise integration strategy and guide the development of robust technical solutions that connect critical applications across the organization. The role is focused on aligning architecture and business priorities while strengthening governance, scalability, and resilience. You will partner closely with senior technology and business leaders to identify modernization opportunities and advance engineering practices across multiple teams. This position also calls for mentoring technical leaders and fostering innovation within a collaborative, high-performing environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $245,100 – $279,800 annually Responsibilities Collaborate with product owners to define application capabilities and testing scenarios Continuously enhance software engineering practices Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across the full stack Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions Stay current on technology trends and mentor members of the engineering community Encourage innovation and diversity in teamwork and problem-solving Provide executive leadership for robust integration solutions connecting enterprise applications Drive enterprise integration strategy aligned with technology architecture and business priorities Establish governance frameworks for integrations and APIs Partner with senior leaders to identify modernization opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 12+ years of experience in a cloud-based environment, including AWS, Azure, or GCP 7+ years of people management experience 8+ years leading integration or automation programs across multiple business units 6+ years developing and executing enterprise-level integration strategies 5+ years managing senior technical leaders or directors in engineering or integration disciplines Benefits Comprehensive health benefits Financial wellness programs Inclusive workplace culture Opportunities for professional development Performance-based incentive compensation Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
