Sr. Director, Global Food Safety Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Global Food Safety Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will own the strategy and execution for a global food safety manufacturing network, with a focus on capacity, optimization, and operational readiness. The role will drive performance across multiple sites while strengthening safety, quality, productivity, and standard operating discipline. It will also partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to manage risk, support growth, and build strong leadership capability across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute the global food safety manufacturing strategy, with a focus on capacity and network optimization Lead operational performance across multiple sites, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity Establish standardized operating systems and continuous improvement initiatives globally Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate operational risks and support growth Build high-performing leadership teams through coaching and accountability mechanisms Oversee annual operational planning, risk management, and manufacturing readiness for new products Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Natural Science, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; master's preferred 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in complex environments Experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations; global team leadership preferred Proven track record in operational transformation and Lean manufacturing practices Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resource allocation Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across a global organization Benefits Standard benefits package Opportunity to lead a global food safety manufacturing network Strategic leadership role with significant impact on operational performance and business growth Inclusive workplace valuing diverse perspectives and professional development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
