Responsibilities

  • Partner with the SVP, Strategy and senior leaders to translate the company’s strategic priorities into a clear portfolio of transformation initiatives and workstreams.
  • Help define which initiatives sit within the Transformation Office based on enterprise impact, complexity, and value potential.
  • Support initiative prioritization, sequencing, and tradeoff decisions to ensure focus on the highest-value work.
  • Establish and operate a lean, high-impact Transformation Office with clear governance, operating rhythms, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Create and maintain initiative charters, milestone plans, interdependency tracking, KPI dashboards, and executive reporting materials.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across initiative leaders, Finance, business owners, and executive sponsors.
  • Drive execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives across areas including merchandising, supply chain, store operations, customer experience, digital, and other enterprise priorities.
  • Identify risks, remove roadblocks, escalate critical decisions, and maintain momentum across initiatives to improve speed, accountability, and execution quality.
  • Support initiative leaders in developing workplans, solving complex business challenges, and ensuring disciplined follow-through.
  • Partner closely with Finance and business leaders to define initiative baselines, quantify value opportunities, and track realized business impact.
  • Ensure initiatives have clearly defined KPIs, ownership, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor initiative performance against plan and recommend course corrections when needed.
  • Build strong partnerships across corporate functions, field leadership, and operator-facing teams to support alignment and initiative adoption.
  • Support change management, communications, and leadership updates to ensure transformation efforts are coordinated, practical, and sustainable.
  • Create transparency and alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities.

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in strategy, transformation, operations, consulting, or general management roles.
  • Experience leading enterprise transformation offices, strategic transformation initiatives, or large-scale program management offices.
  • A proven track record leading or enabling large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with measurable operational or financial impact.
  • Experience within retail, grocery, consumer products, or multi-unit environments.
  • A combination of consulting and operating experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into practical execution plans and operational outcomes.
  • Strong program management, prioritization, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of value creation opportunities, business cases, and P&L implications.
  • Structured thinking and the ability to simplify ambiguity and drive clarity across stakeholders.
  • A collaborative leadership style combined with the willingness to challenge assumptions and drive decision-making when needed.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities and imperfect information.
