Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end model for preparing partners and internal associates to train VA end users on EMR workflows and adoption expectations.
- Plan and deliver end-user sessions across multiple concurrent projects, coordinating calendars, learning environments, instructors, site readiness, and attendance tracking.
- Manage a training delivery capacity of roughly 300 to 800 resources, balancing partner, subcontractor, and internal associate utilization across overlapping deployments.
- Support approximately 5 deployment per year with each deployment serving approximately 5,000 to 10,000 VA end users, ensuring role-based training is available and delivered consistently.
- Cook up training across approximately 40 clinical and financial solutions, aligning content, workflow scenarios, and readiness activities to deployment scope.
- Drive consistent training quality, go-live readiness, issue escalation, reporting, and post-training feedback loops to improve EMR adoption and operational confidence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of consulting experience, including leadership roles in complex technology, healthcare, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Minimum of 5 years of Federal EHR Training and or Change Management experience, including all aspects of End User Adoption.
- Minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience with responsibility for managing people, priorities, performance, and outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading training, enablement, certification, or workforce readiness programs for large implementation teams.
- Experience developing training curricula for complex software solutions, preferably across multiple applications, modules, or solution domains.
- Strong understanding of EHR implementation lifecycle activities, including discovery, design, build, configuration, testing, readiness, go-live, and post-live stabilization.
- Proven ability to manage cohort-based learning programs, enrollment operations, training schedules, certification tracking, and executive reporting.
- Experience working with 3rd-party partners, vendors, subcontractors, or consulting delivery teams in a governed implementation environment.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and make decisions in high-visibility programs.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Education, Information Systems, Clinical Informatics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
