Sr. Director, Cyber Security

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Cyber Security to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This leader will own the organization’s cyber security strategy and operating model, with responsibility for shaping a resilient enterprise-wide security posture. The role will partner closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders to embed security into systems and processes. It will also guide security operations, incident response, and compliance efforts in highly regulated environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$188,000 – $235,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Lead security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management programs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into products.
• Oversee investigation and response processes for security incidents.
• Drive improvement of security controls and compliance with external frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in cyber security within healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading cyber security teams or initiatives.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as GxP, FDA, and HIPAA.
• Experience with enterprise cyber security strategy and security operations.
