About the role
As a Sr. Director, Biostatistics, you will lead a team responsible for designing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical trial data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including clinical research, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs to ensure that statistical analyses meet regulatory standards and provide meaningful insights.Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of biostatistical plans for clinical trials.
- Lead the design and analysis of clinical trial datasets, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret statistical results and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all statistical analyses and reporting.
Requirements
- A PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in biostatistics, with a minimum of 5 years leading a team.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex clinical trials from inception to publication.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and understanding of clinical trial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Expertise in statistical methods relevant to clinical research, including clinical trial design, data management, and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and familiarity with industry standards.
- Experience with statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of statisticians.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
