About the role
The Senior Development Operations Engineer supports Software Engineering and Technology Operations in the implementation of new solutions and ensuring stable and scalable environments. They manage and monitor different environments to ensure new software can reach production. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage functionalities of Release Engineering, Release Management, Performance Engineering, Configuration Management, and Site Reliability Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Supports and improves tools for continuous integration, automated performance and stress testing & release management.
- Develops scripts to automate DevOps functions.
- Buils systems automation and provisioning frameworks for singular applications and environments.
- Supports code, configuration management, release branches using CI/CD tools.
- Collaborates with development teams to discuss, analyze, or resolve application issues or assist with engineering projects.
- Supports engineering and operations teams to meet infrastructure needs for singular applications and environments.
- Analyzes and identifies performance bottlenecks and quality issues.
- Recommend solutions based on established best practices.
- Use logic and analytical thinking to solve problems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps related functions.
- Preferred 4+ years experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Prioritization of tasks and problem-solving ability.
- Preferred understanding of TRIMEDX Technology capabilities.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Preferably in MIS, Computer Science or related field.
