Education / Qualifications

Vicor is seeking an experienced engineer to join our R&D organization. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE or MSEE degree and 5+ years of power electronics design experience in AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, VRMs, or BUS converters.

• Extensive knowledge of high frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures.
• Specific power conversion design skills including high frequency magnetics design, power conversion circuit design and analysis, circuit simulation, layout considerations, feedback control theory, EMC compliance, and logic/interface circuit design.
• A strong mathematical and analytical background with the ability to model complex electrical problems.
• Excellent self-motivation, detail orientation, team and individual contributor leadership skills, and outstanding organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

Vicor offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $105,000 - $130,000 per year, with individual salaries determined by a variety of factors including qualifications, skills, education, and experience.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually.

Vicor operates standard Monday through Friday business hours.
