Sr Design Architect
About the role
This opportunity entails functioning as a Team Leader for assigned buildings design projects, serving as the primary point of contact with clients, developing and maintaining internal and external client networks, and serving as a primary contributor during client meetings and presentations. You'll help others by guiding them forward, participating in directing growth and strategic planning as part of the Company's management team.
Responsibilities
- Securing, assigning and maintaining a project team containing all the resources required to successfully deliver projects while maintaining quality
- Identifying and assessing risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
- Implementing and maintaining effective communication to the project team and all stakeholders to ensure full project delivery
- Controlling scope and cost to the project baseline
- Ensuring the obligations between Client and the Company are fulfilled
- Developing and monitoring financial and project delivery schedules, including change management
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of experience in vertical buildings programs
- At least 7 years of management experience involving direct client contact and full responsibility for projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect (RA)
- NCARB Certificate holder
- Proven ability to strategize and direct business growth and direction
- Forward thinking and ability to articulate clear vision and knowledge of trends in the vertical space
- Must have good social, networking, organization, communication, people and presentation skills
Preferred qualifications
- Participation in professional organizations
- Master's Degree in Architecture
- Experience with manufacturing and data center projects
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $123,600.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule
This position offers a hybrid working policy, allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations. This position is available at any location in the United States; ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office.
