About the role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our AWS Strategic Industries, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Delivery team. In this role, you'll manage a team of ProServe HCLS Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You'll leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting in HCLS background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Building and managing a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants
• Collaborating with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of innovative, forward-looking IT strategies for customers
• Managing practice P&L, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of customer engagements
• Driving business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges
• 3+ years experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
• Experience with international sales and delivery work with global F500 enterprise customers and partners
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology
• Experience building and maintaining C-level client relationships
• Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation
• Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture

Pay

• USA, CA, San Francisco: $231,200.00 - $312,800.00 USD annually
• USA, GA, Atlanta: $201,000.00 - $272,000.00 USD annually
• USA, IL, Chicago: $201,000.00 - $272,000.00 USD annually
• USA, MA, Boston: $201,000.00 - $272,000.00 USD annually
• USA, NC, Raleigh: $201,000.00 - $272,000.00 USD annually
• USA, NJ, Jersey City: $221,100.00 - $299,200.00 USD annually
