About the role
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Coding/automation and design/architecture skills are required!
- Work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.
- Drive customer success throughout their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices across the project lifecycle.
- Gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience.
- 5+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Experience in database (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync.
- Experience with AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
