Sr. Delivery Consultant - Application Development, AWS ProServe

About the role

The AWS Professional Services team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions that meet customer technical requirements and business objectives. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Mentoring, training, and sharing knowledge within the organization

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
• 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
• 5+ years of software development with object-oriented language experience
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
• Experience with video and image processing and compression algorithms and standards, computer vision and/or machine learning

Skills

• Technical specialist, design and architecture experience
