About the role
Help shape how data powers better decisions at Triumph. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design, build, and improve the data pipelines and systems that support business applications, analytics, and decision-making across the organization. You’ll combine hands-on technical work with collaboration and strategic thinking, helping teams get the reliable, accessible data they need while guiding best practices across the data engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage data assets and develop processes to populate data models.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations as data volume and complexity grow.
- Partner with analytics and business teams to improve data models and make information easier to access and use.
- Develop data quality processes and monitoring to help ensure data is accurate, reliable, and available.
- Design, develop, and maintain data integrations and data quality frameworks.
- Analyze data to troubleshoot issues and help teams resolve them efficiently.
- Write unit and integration tests to support reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Document technical work and contribute to engineering resources and best practices.
- Work with business and engineering teams to help shape the long-term data platform strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and promote effective data engineering practices across the team.
- Demonstrate Triumph’s values and core tenets.
- Take on other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of Python development and 5+ years of SQL experience.
- 5+ years of experience with data modeling, schema design, and data processing systems.
- Experience with Snowflake, GitHub, and ClickUp or a similar project management tool.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
