This is a hybrid role in NYC (3 days a week in-office). Relocation assistance will not be provided. Candidates from the media and entertainment space are strongly preferred. Visa sponsorship and third-party applications are not available.
Responsibilities
- Lead Data Analysis: Develop and execute analyses across digital product performance, audience behavior, content performance, and advertising effectiveness.
- Build Scalable Data Products: Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, reporting solutions, and dashboards leveraging both first-party and third-party datasets.
- Turn Ad Hoc Analysis into Products: Identify recurring business requests and transform them into repeatable, scalable data products that can be leveraged across the organization.
- Audience & Identity Analytics: Build reports and dashboards measuring KPIs related to identity resolution initiatives, audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and content optimization.
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets into clear insights, visualizations, and recommendations for both technical teams and senior/executive stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted analytics partner to Data, Product, Engineering, and other business teams across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5–8 years of experience within data analytics, business intelligence, data science, data engineering, or a related data-focused role.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including extensive experience with data mining and large-scale cloud data warehouses such as Redshift or BigQuery.
- Advanced experience building reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Experience developing, implementing, or utilizing identity resolution, audience analytics, or audience measurement solutions.
- Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations and compelling stories.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and influence stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
Skills
- Familiarity with the digital media, publishing, or advertising ecosystem is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to media research and measurement platforms such as Nielsen or Comscore is beneficial.
- Understanding of CTV, digital advertising, programmatic media, audience targeting, and cross-platform measurement is highly valuable.
