Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer (IL)

About the role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in backend technologies such as Java, Python, or Node.js. Proficiency in database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement new features and improve existing systems.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or PyTest.

Skills

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Understanding of security best practices and principles.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
