Sr Cyber Security Automation Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Automation Engineer to join their team. This role leads work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security functions to design and maintain efficient security automations
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of automation playbooks from planning to maintenance
• Proactively identify and implement security automation opportunities with stakeholder buy-in
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance security analysts' effectiveness and automate actions
• Build end-to-end detection solutions with automated feedback loops
• Expand automation capabilities across all security functions
• Conduct quality checks on automations for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline
• 5+ years of Information Technology experience
• 4+ years of Cyber Security experience
• 2+ years of experience with any SOAR tool (e.g., Splunk SOAR, Sentinel)
• 4+ years of experience developing with Python

Pay

$150,000 – $190,000 annually
