Sr Customer Success Manager - Tech Partnerships

About the role
This is a hybrid, 2 days a week in-office position in New York City. As the primary post-sale relationship owner for a portfolio of high-value technology platform partners, you will drive product adoption, renewals, and net revenue retention.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute joint success plans with each partner, aligning LiveRamp capabilities to their product, go-to-market, and customer objectives over 6, 12, and 18 months.
- Lead strategic business reviews and executive check-ins, translating platform performance, usage trends, and measurement results into clear recommendations and roadmaps.
- Orchestrate cross-functional resources (Product, Solutions, Support, Legal, and Commercial) to remove blockers, accelerate integrations, and ensure timely delivery of partner commitments.
- Proactively analyze account health using quantitative and qualitative signals to identify risk, expansion, and innovation opportunities across LiveRamp’s suite of solutions.
- Advise partners on best practices for data collaboration, addressability, and privacy-safe activation, positioning LiveRamp as a trusted strategic advisor in their ecosystem strategy.
- Manage and forecast account-level renewal and growth motions, including structuring upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales.
- Represent partner needs and market feedback back into LiveRamp, influencing product roadmap priorities, feature discovery, and enablement content.
- Document key activities, decisions, and outcomes in internal systems, ensuring accurate visibility into engagement status, risks, and next steps.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Customer Success playbooks, tooling, and processes specific to technology and platform partners.
Team Responsibilities
- Support and grow relationships with some of LiveRamp’s most strategic technology partners, including adtech, martech, cloud, and data platforms.
- Drive complex, multi-party data collaboration initiatives that rely on deep understanding of identity, privacy, and addressability across channels and environments.
- Collaborate closely with Alliances, Product, and Solutions to design and operationalize new partner use cases, integrations, and joint offerings.
- Build and scale repeatable engagement models, health frameworks, and success metrics tailored to technology partners and platform businesses.
- Triage and resolve escalated technical and business issues for your accounts, coordinating with Support and Engineering to keep partners informed and on track.
- Share learnings, playbooks, and market insights across the broader Customer Success and Alliances teams to elevate how LiveRamp partners with technology platforms globally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Partner Management, or a similar role within SaaS, adtech, martech, or data/analytics.
- Proven track record managing a book of complex, strategic accounts or partners with measurable impact on retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising or marketing technology ecosystems (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, CDPs, clean rooms, cloud data warehouses, or measurement platforms).
- Experience working with technical stakeholders and products, including comfort discussing APIs, integrations, data flows, and platform configuration at a high level.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influence without direct authority, and lead cross-functional initiatives to completion.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear narratives and presentations tailored to different audiences.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using dashboards, usage metrics, and performance data to tell stories and inform decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working directly with technology partnerships, ecosystems, or strategic alliances in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with identity, data collaboration, and privacy-preserving technologies (e.g., clean rooms, identity resolution, authenticated addressability).
- Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) or modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) in a customer-facing or partner-facing context.
- Prior experience at or working closely with adtech/martech platforms such as DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CDPs, or measurement/attribution providers.
- Comfort navigating legal, compliance, and data governance considerations in support of partner use cases.
- Background working in a highly matrixed, global organization with distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring or coaching other team members, or contributing to operational improvements and playbook development.
Pay
The approximate annual base salary range is $107,500 to $133,500. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation targeted at 20% of base salary, subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan. Accordingly, the on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is approximately $129,000 to $160,200, assuming achievement of target performance goals. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, geography, performance, and internal equity among our team.
