About the role

As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the proposal and order execution process. You'll partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Trade Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure customer orders are executed efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage proposals and customer orders from inquiry through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Cook up with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Trade Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Maintain order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, claims, and delivery issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure purchase orders align with proposals, contracts, and agreed commercial terms.
  • Maintain accurate customer information within CRM, ERP, and business systems.
  • Support pricing activities, reporting, and sales history requests.
  • Follow export control requirements and company policies.
  • Partner with Finance on payment follow-up when required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, order management, inside sales support, proposal preparation, contract administration, or commercial operations within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, SAP, or similar business systems.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Absolutely customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Power BI or Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Experience in the cement, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or engineering industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
