Responsibilities
- Develop credit and fraud strategies using data and analytics to optimize risk decisions
- Recommend innovative solutions to address complex problems
- Design A/B tests to evaluate risk and customer experience
- Test new data and analytics methods for continued innovation
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams on strategy implementation
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses related to risk management and operations
- Analyze and report on portfolio performance at a granular level
- Identify trends and conduct root-cause analysis to isolate performance drivers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics
- 3+ years of relevant experience in credit risk or fraud management in consumer lending
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with DBT and Looker is a plus
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities to convey complex concepts succinctly to all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality
