What You'll Do
- Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, including NDAs, supply agreements, equipment purchases, service contracts, and R&D partnerships
- Provide legal advice on international trade law, regulatory compliance (e.g., export controls under EAR/ITAR), technology licensing, technology transfer agreements, or IP-intensive transactions
- Drive cost savings initiatives and implement strategic sourcing best practices
- Offer guidance on operational transactions, such as joint development agreements, R&D partnerships, and warranty claims
- Travel as required to support business objectives and transactional needs
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 10 years of experience handling complex commercial contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, services, equipment leases, letters of intent, and joint development agreements
- Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize workflows, meet deadlines, and manage multifaced projects in a fast-paced environment
- J.D. with strong academic credentials and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
- Combination of law firm and in-house legal experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for stakeholders
- Practical business judgment and a proactive approach to addressing legal and operational challenges
