Sr. Counsel, Compliance & Investigations

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Counsel, Compliance & Investigations to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will help shape and strengthen the company’s compliance investigations function, with a focus on complex, sensitive matters that require sound judgment and practical legal guidance. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders to assess outcomes, identify trends, and support a fair, consistent, and accountable workplace culture. The successful candidate will bring a strong mix of legal acumen, investigation experience, and cross-functional collaboration skills to influence both process improvements and broader organizational practices. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $158,765 – $326,870 annually Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end compliance investigations process Advise on investigation outcomes and recommend improvements Promote best practices and mentor junior investigators Identify trends in investigations to drive fairness Prepare updates on investigations for internal stakeholders Embed speak-up values into corporate culture Engage with stakeholders on compliance and disclosure matters Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school 7+ years of experience in complex and sensitive investigations Experience in a top law firm or in-house legal and compliance department Admitted to the bar of at least one state Excellent analytical and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively across teams Self-starter with strong prioritization skills Benefits Flexible working hours to support business needs Opportunity for in-person collaboration 1-3 times per year Equity eligibility in addition to salary Commitment to an equitable and inclusive workplace Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
