Sr. Controls Engineer

About the role

CWC Textron, a division of Kautex Textron, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our fast-paced, safety-oriented foundry in Muskegon County. As part of Textron, a multi-industry company with a long-standing presence and well-known brands, you’ll have access to the resources of a large organization while enjoying the collaborative environment of a smaller company.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, and circuits
• Assist in the development of control strategies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvement of machines and processes related to controls
• Review and update electrical schematics as needed
• Evaluate and upgrade controls equipment
• Develop electrical control systems for new equipment in coordination with project engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Training in design software required
