The Role at a Glance
The Senior Consultant, is a key strategic partner within the IT organization, responsible for advancing IT engagement, proactively bringing our IT brand forward across the enterprise. This role serves as the connective tissue between IT strategy and engagement programs.
Key Responsibilities
Interface with operational areas across the enterprise to advance IT’s presence, visibility, and strategic alignment through structured engagement and brand representation.
Own and manage IT Central as the primary product owner, ensuring the platform reflects current IT strategy, priorities, and Lincoln brand standards.
Proactively source and leverage industry data, emerging trends, and IT performance metrics to inform executive forums and strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain standardized IT brand standards, messaging frameworks, and artifacts used consistently across IT and the broader enterprise.
Design and facilitate IT leadership forums with targeted intent, including agenda development, presenter alignment, and outcomes tracking to drive meaningful dialogue.
Create concise, decision-ready executive presentations and pre-read materials focused on IT strategy, performance, and value realization.
Translate complex technical concepts, analytics, and initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for SLT and Officer audiences.
Lead the standardization and adoption of IT messaging, artifacts, and strategic materials across all enterprise touchpoints, establishing IT Brand as a recognized and consistent presence.
Proactively source, analyze, and synthesize data to support IT performance management, operational metrics, and trend analysis.
Use analytics to inform strategy, prioritize initiatives, and support executive decision-making.
Ensure leadership and stakeholder communities are well-versed in IT direction, progress, and key messages through structured communications and program support.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience (minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in IT strategy execution, executive communications, IT brand management, technology consulting, or a similar role.
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders, Officers, or executive governance forums within an IT or technology organization.
Strong background in executive communications, analytics, and enterprise technology planning.
Exceptional executive-level communication skills, with the ability to simplify and clearly articulate complex IT concepts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling capabilities.
Experience with AI tools to support data analysis, insight generation, content development, or decision support is highly desired.
Proven ability to influence IT and business partners in a matrixed environment; experience with intranet or content platform product ownership (e.g., SharePoint, IT Central, or similar) is a plus.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $127,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
