Responsibilities
- Support research and analytics related to catastrophe risk and exposure data
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines for analytics
- Utilize SQL, Python, R, Databricks, and Snowflake to manage and validate large datasets
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data validation and reporting workflows
- Enhance the efficiency and impact of catastrophe analytics through process improvement and automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, computer science, engineering, or finance
- ACAS level actuary credential required; additional progress towards FCAS credential preferred
- Professional experience in P&C pricing or reserving; catastrophe modeling experience is highly preferred
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python and/or R
- Detail-oriented with a naturally curious mindset that drives investigation and quality improvement
