Sr Consultant Corporate Affairs Intelligence
About the role
The Sr Consultant, Corporate Affairs Intelligence supports the Corporate Affairs (CA) Intelligence team by gathering, analyzing, and sharing insights that help inform decisions, identify risks, uncover opportunities, and strengthen Target's reputation. This role maintains and enhances the CA information hub, monitors and analyzes information across reputation, risk, stakeholders, issues, and emerging trends, and supports deeper analysis through landscape assessments, issue analysis, and intelligence reports.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the CA information hub, ensuring information is accurate, current, and accessible.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring across media, social, stakeholders, and other intelligence sources to identify emerging issues, shifts in sentiment, and relevant trends important to Corporate Affairs planning.
- Support function-specific intelligence needs, including reputation and risk monitoring, media analysis, and stakeholder intelligence.
- Partner across Corporate Affairs and the broader enterprise to gather inputs, connect information from multiple sources, and contribute to enterprise insights and reporting routines.
- Translate data and observations into clear insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience leading process improvement and systems initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business results.
- Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Experienced in conducting research, analyzing complex challenges, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Hightly organized and adaptable, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Proven success working in highly matrixed organizations, partnering across teams to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity by creating structure, defining requirements, and developing solutions amid changing priorities.
- Experience leading and contributing to cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems and deliver results.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with a balance of strategic thinking and execution.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or similar field.
- Experience with data analysis tools and software.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, public policy, and stakeholder management.
