About the role
Responsible for the on-time completion of service delivery, managed services, or implementation-oriented client projects. Manages a cross-functional team (onshore/offshore) to achieve project delivery success. Identifies and elevates potential new business opportunities. Provides technical leadership to the project team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize training methodology and materials across systems/projects.
- Deliver training presentations to both internal and external audiences.
- Participate in or lead teams in the design, development, and delivery of technology/service-based projects or components of larger, complex projects.
- Review and analyze client requirements/problems; propose and deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Perform qualitative/quantitative analyses to assist in identifying client issues and develop client-specific solutions.
- Design, structure, and deliver client reports and presentations.
- Recommend improvements and alternative solutions.
- Provide follow-up with internal and/or external clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of technology/services solutions and trends for the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences market.
- Develop practice-specific subject matter expertise in technology & applications consulting or functional areas for the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry.
- Manage work streams, assign tasks, and drive them to completion.
- May assist with business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (required); Master’s (optional).
- 9–15 years of related experience in consulting or services delivery, ideally in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry.
- Strong training background, including creation, methodology, and delivery.
- Solid project management, client influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong technical architecture, design, or development experience (desired).
- Ability to work effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals.
- Experience developing consultative relationships with senior-level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques related to the functional area.
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the industry.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client influencing skills.
- Established network and referral contacts.
- Necessary subject matter expertise to effectively manage projects within a given Center of Excellence (CoE).
Pay
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $92,300.00–$230,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, and schedule (full- or part-time). Incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, along with a range of health, welfare, and other benefits.
