Human ResourcesFull-time
Amazon is one of the most complex and fast-moving businesses in the world, and the people behind it are what make it possible. Our Executive Compensation team plays a critical role in attracting, retaining, and rewarding the senior leaders who drive that growth.
About the role
We're looking for a Sr. Compensation Consultant who thrives in ambiguity, brings creative problem-solving to the table, and wants to shape how Amazon rewards its most senior talent on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the executive compensation strategy, planning, and execution for your supported organizations globally.
- Partner directly with senior HR leaders, Executive Recruiting, and business leadership to design compensation strategies aligned with Amazon's philosophy while meeting the unique needs of each org.
- Lead conversations with VPs and Directors on total compensation topics; you'll be the trusted advisor in the room.
- Develop creative, data-driven solutions to complex compensation challenges, balancing competitiveness, equity, risk, and reward.
- Perform deep analysis on global compensation programs, assess market competitiveness, and model the impact of alternatives.
- Build and maintain mechanisms that drive operational excellence; partner with compensation tech teams to implement tools and automation.
- Conduct custom market surveys with key industry contacts to inform strategy.
- Proactively identify compensation needs on a current and forward-looking basis, bringing solutions before problems surface.
- Influence decisions that directly impact organizational performance at the most senior levels.
The scope is global, the problems are complex, and cookie-cutter approaches don't work here. You'll operate with high autonomy and ownership in an environment that values invention, speed, and the highest standards.
