Sr Compensation Accountant

What's the Job?

Support the Compensation Accounting function, owning key close and reporting processes. Partner closely with Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Perform balance sheet reconciliations related to compensation and other assigned areas. Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and complex adjustments. Assist with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit support activities.

What's Needed?

• 5–8+ years of progressive ledger accounting experience, including month-end close activities
• Strong experience with general ledger, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets and complex models
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain accounting concepts clearly to non-finance partners
