Sr. Commercial Banking Relationship Manager
About the Role
A Commercial Loan Officer / Relationship Manager develops and maintains a client relationship portfolio for a given market area. Drawing on superior communication and interpersonal talents, you will independently generate and manage a Commercial Real Estate portfolio sized between $75 to $100MM.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle all relationship types, including relationships with complex loan structures.
- Offer commercial real estate lending products and services to new clients.
- Expand First Bank's commercial real estate client base, achieving sales and goals.
- Gain knowledge of all bank products including Cash Management, Wealth Management, International, and partner with Product Specialists to sell products to clients and prospects.
- Provide leadership to other bankers within the group.
- Generate new business.
- Prepare and supervise loan packages for presentation to Senior Management and Loan Committee.
- Assume full responsibility for quality, completeness, and accuracy of all loan documentation in the loan portfolio; proactively manage loan asset quality.
- Contribute to the Bank's and Group's overall management objectives by participating in meetings and supporting Bank goals.
- Participate in community-oriented and professional organizations to provide additional networking and referral opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Finance or a related field.
- Seven or more years of related commercial banking experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite of Products.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to inquiries/requests from clients and/or prospects.
- Ability to effectively present information to senior management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret financial data provided.
Pay
The current pay range for this role is $166,250 - $208,000. The range takes into account many factors including but not limited to prior experience, skill set, training, and other internal business and organizational factors. Geographic location of the anticipated hiring location may also influence the specific range.
