Provide age-appropriate service as defined by the department's scope of service. Review, identify, code, abstract, and enter diagnoses and procedures to support reimbursement, data analysis, research, and federal regulatory compliance. Follow up on deficient and delinquent discharge records, request missing diagnosis or procedure information, audit incomplete charts, investigate missing records, and notify the supervisor as needed.
