Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer
About the role
The Challenge Adobe is seeking a UNIX Administrator with excellent technical, process, and automation skills to join the High-Performance Cloud Operations Team. This person will be responsible for the daily administration of Linux and Unix servers in a business application environment.
Responsibilities
- System Administration - Monitor the trouble ticket queue, perform system fixes, implement hardware and software changes, write scripts, apply patches, monitor system performance, size systems, integrate systems, implement upgrades, and diagnose hardware issues.
- Application Support - Collaborate with application administrators to troubleshoot and optimize applications, and guide them in using the underlying UNIX infrastructure.
- Documentation - Maintain all system documentation.
Requirements
- In-depth experience with Unix/Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE).
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation tools (Ansible).
- Demonstrated ability to perform UNIX builds.
- Solid grasp of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH).
- Working knowledge of virtual machine management (VMware, OpenShift).
- Expertise in system security (user access controls, OS hardening, patch management, compliance).
Qualifications
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Operational experience with Ansible and Terraform.

Benefits
Adobe offers a competitive compensation package, including a range of $132,100 -- $250,875 annually, with additional details available upon request. For sales roles, total target compensation (TTC) and sales commission plans are provided, while non-sales roles receive base salary and annual incentive plans. Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives.
Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $132,100 -- $250,875 annually, with variations based on work location and market conditions. In California, the pay range is $173,300 - $250,875.
