Sr. Clinical Trial Manager
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Clinical Trial Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee the planning and execution of Phase I-III clinical trials, ensuring studies stay on track, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, CROs, and vendors to drive operational excellence across study timelines, enrollment, site performance, and budget management. The position requires strong leadership in a fast-paced environment where proactive risk identification, issue escalation, and disciplined execution are critical to trial success. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of Phase I-III clinical trials
- Oversee CROs and vendors to ensure compliance and budget adherence
- Guide cross-functional teams to meet study goals
- Develop and manage study timelines
- Monitor enrollment and site performance; proactively escalate issues
- Identify and mitigate operational risks; escalate when necessary
- Manage budgets and invoicing for CROs and vendors
- Lead feasibility and site selection efforts
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of clinical operations experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO industry
- BA/BS degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline preferred
- Proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, committed to quality
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Smartsheets; experience applying AI in operations

Pay
$149,860 – $181,595 annually
