Sr. Clinical Research Project Manager

About the role

This role will oversee the planning and execution of domestic and international clinical research projects, with a strong emphasis on study start-up, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination. The Sr. Clinical Research Project Manager will help ensure studies stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with protocol, regulatory, and quality expectations. This position also plays an important leadership role by developing key study documentation, supporting risk mitigation efforts, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of domestic and international clinical research projects
• Develop and review essential study-related documents
• Oversee study start-up activities, including site identification and initiation visits
• Manage study vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery
• Monitor project timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with protocols
• Develop risk management plans and quality control measures
• Prepare study reports and presentations
• Mentor junior staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent clinical research experience
• 8+ years of experience in clinical research project management
• Proven track record of managing complex clinical research projects
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and GCP guidelines
• Strong leadership skills with mentoring experience

Pay

$115,000 – $149,000 annually
