About the role
We are looking to add a Sr. Client Service Consultant to join our Property Casualty team in Sioux Falls, SD. Our company culture is forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant, offering the opportunity to share your unique potential.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and lead accounts by servicing the largest and most complex accounts, with support from Client Service Specialist and Client Service Consultant based on account size.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and operate as an effective partner with clients, including:
- Market renewal policies and negotiate with insurance company underwriters.
- Review insurance in place and assess future needs of the client.
- Evaluate and recommend insurance options for clients.
- Maintain awareness of complex or significant claims situations and assist in claims process management to ensure client claim issues are satisfactorily resolved.
- Investigate or identify appropriate resources to resolve complex insurance issues, ensuring client and sales team satisfaction.
- Maintain visibility with clients, fostering lasting relationships through professional and technical expertise, as well as understanding the client’s business needs.
- Meet with the team for pre-renewal meetings on assigned accounts and development of client opportunities.
- Prepare client renewal reviews and applications, order renewals, and complete required documents.
- Manage various complex insurance plans such as loss-sensitive risk funding plans, and associated loss development and loss forecasting.
- Ensure account accuracy by verifying that online customer information, exposure schedules, policy formats, policy endorsements, premiums, and invoicing are accurate and current.
Requirements
- High school diploma; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of customer service, underwriting, or risk management experience in the insurance industry.
- Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire the license within three months of hire.

- Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs.
- Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance.
- Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
